By the grace of Hashem,

To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, filled with eagerness, the Rav Yehudah Leib (note 1: Rav Y. L. Raskin, of Casablanca, Morocco. See, regarding him, letter no. 7289) and his wife, Mrs. Heida Reizel,

I greet you and bless you,

I learned, with pleasure, that you have arrived safely in Morocco, in order to assume your mission there — that of every Jewish man and every Jewish woman, defined by the Mishnah*: "I was created to serve my Creator." As our masters and leaders explain, this consists of disseminating "the candle which is a Mitzvah* and the Torah* which is a light," as well as the luminary of the Torah* (note 2: Its inner dimension), which is the teaching of Chassidus*, its customs and practices.

May Hashem grant that you act in this manner, with joy and enthusiasm. In this way, you will have the appropriate eagerness and you will know success, especially since the merit of what is possible comes to your aid. In anticipation of good tidings of all this,
