By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of "the attribute of severity within the attribute of severity" (note 1: The ninth day of the Omer*, 24 Nissan*) and those that followed. May Hashem grant that the situation conform to the explanation given by various texts of Chassidus*, regarding the heavenly Severity, which is, in fact, an increased blessing. This is precisely the meaning of the verse: "And Hashem Elokim* will give you the dew," which mentions the Divine Name Elokim*. Likewise, one also speaks of "rains of severity" (note 2: To emphasize their abundance).

I send you my blessing to give me good tidings, especially since we are approaching the week (note 3: The third of the Omer*) corresponding to the Attribute of Harmony, Tiferes*. Although this is the synthesis of kindness and severity, it is indeed the right side (note 4: That of kindness) which is dominant therein. And even more, harmony rises higher than kindness alone.
