I greet you and bless you,
You allude to the study of the inner dimension of the Torah* (note 1: And to the manner of studying it). It is quite evident that one is obligated therein and that the merit thereof also applies before marriage. It is equally clear that Chassidus* must be studied precisely in the works of the authors (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 4825) who received the tradition directly transmitted from our master, the Baal Shem Tov*, who revealed his teaching. Regarding Kabbalah*, Rabbi Chaim Vital says, in his introduction to the Shaar HaHakdamos*, that one must retain the teaching of the Arizal* and his disciples. In this sense, such study does indeed differ from that of the revealed part of the Torah*. In this regard, you will consult, in particular, the Zohar*, Volume 1, page 5a.

... במש"כ ע"ד לימוד פנימיות התורה - מובן וגם פשוט שמחוייבים (וזוכים) בזה גם לפני הנישואין. כן מובן שבנוגע לתורת החסידות - צריך ללמדה דוקא בספרי אלו המחברים שהייתה בידם לימוד וקבלה איש מפי איש ועד למורנו הבעש"ט ז"ל, מגלה תורת החסידות. ובנוגע לתורת הקבלה דוקא עפמש"כ הרח"ו בהקדמתו לשער ההקדמות וכידוע דהלכה כהאריז"ל וגוריו. דבזה חלוק לימוד הנ"ל מלימוד גליא דתורה. ראה זח"א ה, א. ובכ"מ.
