By the grace of Hashem,

To the members of the committee of Kfar Chabad*,

May Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letters, in which you indicate the changes you wish to make. In general, one does not proceed in this manner and there is therefore absolutely no reason to do so. A new committee cannot modify everything that was decided by its predecessor. If this were the case, one could not work in a methodical manner and develop according to an established order. One cannot function this way in any place, even if one has the best reasons for doing so.

You will deduce from this my opinion on the content of your letter. It is out of the question to foment revolutions and disturbances. Use your time and your ardor, therefore, to strengthen the Kfar and to develop it, quantitatively and qualitatively. Do not systematically seek revolution, especially in this matter, for it is completely unnecessary. In the future, consider all proposals as they arise and decide based on the elements at your disposal. With my blessing to give good tidings of all this and to know success in this matter,

במענה למכתביהם, בם כותבים אשר... ולכן רוצים לעשות בזה שינוים וכו'.

והנה בכלל - אין זה סדר ונוהג כלל, שכל ועד חדש ישנה כל הענינים שהחליט עליהם ועד הקודמו, כי אם כן, הרי אין כל מקום לעבודה מסודרה ולהתפתחות ענינים מסודרים. וא"א זה כלל בענינים מאיזה סוג שיהי' אפילו באם תמצי לומר שישנם טעמים הכי חשובים וכו'.

ומזה מובנת חוות דעתי לתוכן מכתבם, אשר... א י ן לערוך מהפכות ובלבול וכו' וכו'.

וינצלו זמנם ומרצם לביסוס הכפר והרחבתו בכמות ובאיכות, ולא להתענין במהפכות דוקא. ובפרט בכהנ"ל - שאין בזה צורך כלל וכלל, אלא שמכאן ולהבא ידונו על כל הצעות בכגון אלו - באם תהיינה - ויחליטו מתאים להענין ופרטיו...
