I am responding to your letter of 23 Cheshvan*, in which you describe the prayer (note 1: In the school directed by the addressee of this letter) and you specify the improvements that are still necessary in this matter. In this regard, one can verify in practice that by appointing monitors from among the students themselves, charging them with helping the others, distributing the prayer books to them, as a warden or guide does in a synagogue, but of course adapting to the conditions (note 2: Of the school), one succeeds not only in obtaining the desired calm during the prayer, but also after it, and furthermore, when one prepares to pray. Of course, for various reasons, these monitors must be changed from time to time. And the duration of their function will depend on the abilities and personality of the students. In case of doubt, you will begin with a short period, which will allow you to appoint a second time the one who is suited for this, or to replace him with someone more adapted to this function.

You allude to a student of short stature. In recent years, several treatments have been found in this area. Of course, not everyone reacts in the same way to these treatments and the success is not always the same. במענה למכתבה מכ"ג חשון, בו כותבת אודות סדר התפלה והשיפורים המוכרחים עדיין לבוא.

ורואים במוחש בכגון דא אשר כשממנים מבין התלמידים-ות שי' עצמם משגיחים על הסדר, מסייעים להם, מחלקים הסידורים וכו' [ע"ד הרגיל בבית הכנסת, גבאי מורה דרך שמש וכו' כמובן בשינוים מתאימים], הרי זה מצליח שלא רק בזמן התפלה יתנהגו כרצוי, אלא גם לאחרי זה וגם בהכנה לזמן התפלה, אלא שכמובן מכמה טעמים יש להחליף הממונים מזמן לזמן, ואורך התקופה של המינוי, הרי זה תלוי בתכונת ואופי התלמידים, ובמקום ספק להתחיל בתקופה קצרה, שאז הברירה למנות המתאים פעם שני' או להחליפו במתאים יותר.

לכתבה אודות תלמידה, אשר נמוכה היא בקומה וכו' הנה כמה אופני טפול נתחדשו בשנים האחרונות בכגון זה, אף שמובן שלא כאו"א שוה בטפול ובהצלחתו.

ובעת רצון יזכירוה על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך לה.

ובכ"א כדאי שההורים שי' ישאלו מזמן לזמן את הרופא המטפל, האם נתחדש מה בשטח זה בזמן האחרון, בהנוגע לבתם תחי'.
