I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of 8 Teves* and those that preceded it. You describe your difficulties and your work at present — education based on sacred values, within an institution founded and directed by my father-in-law (note 1: Presumably in a school of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* network), the Rebbe*, leader of Israel. To approach the resolution of such problems, one must first have the conviction that they indeed have a solution, which does not appear between the lines of your letter. The necessity of this is quite evident and this constitutes an enviable lot (note 2: The fact of teaching in such a school is an enviable lot), given the nature and objective of this institution, as stated. Moreover, I hope that you remember what we discussed here during the weeks of your stay, in public (note 3: During public discourses) and personally with you (note 4: During an audience granted by the Rebbe to the addressee of this letter). Furthermore, you hope to soon establish a Jewish home, which renders even more clearly necessary an abundant blessing from Hashem. Such work within this institution is therefore the channel and the receptacle that enables one to obtain it, on condition that one assumes it with devotion and self-sacrifice.

To resolve your problems, you will take counsel with the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of multiple accomplishments, Rav Ch. S. Brook (note 5: Rav Chaim Shaul Brook, director of the Yeshivah* Achei Temimim* of Rishon LeTzion*). Naturally, you may tell him that you are consulting him on my counsel. More generally, your letter seems to indicate that you think yourself to be in a state of constriction. This is, moreover, what you told me on several occasions when you were here. I am sending you a copy of a letter I sent to several Chassidim* and which concerns you as well. You will find therein an answer and you will be reassured. In anticipation of good tidings of all this,

במענה למכתבו מח' טבת והקודמיו, בם כותב אודות הבעיות ועבודתו עתה בחינוך על טהרת הקדש המוסד שמיסודו והנהלתו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל.

והנה הגישה לפתרון בעיות אלו צ"ל שמוכרח למצוא פתרון (ולא כנראה מבין השורות דמכתבו), וההכרח מובן שהרי זה חלק היפה כאמור לעיל במהות המוסד וענינו ובפרט ע"פ תקותי שזוכר מה שנדבר כאן במשך השבועות ששהה כאן, הן ברבים והן ביחיד אתו, ובפרט שככתבו מקוה שיקים בית בישראל בקרוב, שזהו עוד מוסיף בהצורך בברכת השי"ת בשופי ועבודה הנ"ל במוסד הנ"ל ה"ז צנור וכלי להאמור, ובלבד שיהי' במסירה ונתינה.

הדרך לפתרון הבעיות, יתייעץ עם הרה"ח אי"א נו"נ רב פעלים הרח"ש שי' ברוק, ומובן שיכול לומר לו שעושה זה ע"פ הצעתי.

והנה בכלל נראה ממכתבו, שלדעתו נמצא הוא במיצר (וכן אמר לי איזו פעמים בשהותו כאן), ומוסג"פ העתק מכתבי שכתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש שגם אליו מופנה הוא, ובו ימצא מענה וגם מרגוע.
