By the grace of Hashem,

On the eve of Shabbos* (note 1: Parshas* Mishpatim*)

"If you lend money" 5721,

To the leaders of the benevolence association Shomrei Shabbos* (note 2: Those who guard the Shabbos*) in the city of Brooklyn, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I received with pleasure your letter of this Tuesday, when twice the word "good" was said (note 3: During the Creation). You give me a brief report of the actions you have carried out during this year (note 4: This is the mutual aid fund) and you inform me that your annual meeting will take place at the conclusion of the coming Shabbos*, which blesses the month of Adar*. May Hashem grant that this meeting be fruitful, that it enable the development of your activities, the strengthening of calm, joy, and enthusiasm.

Indeed, benevolence is addressed "to the wealthy as well as... (note 5: To the poor). Moreover, chapter 15 of the series of Chassidic* discourses published for the Hilula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, leader of Israel, emphasizes that in this generation of the heel of Moshiach*, one lavishes "all the hidden treasures, the fabulous wealth that has been gathered and accumulated over many years, from one generation to the next, and they are transmitted to the officers, for the soldiers" (note 6: So that they may achieve the final victory).

As various texts establish, materiality is an emanation of spirituality. In this case, from the treasures just described will also flow material treasures, very soon, with the coming of our righteous Moshiach*, when one will fully utilize the moral treasures in the manner that is explained in this series.

Then will be fully accomplished the admonition and promise according to which: "Among you, there shall be no poor person," for "Israel will accomplish the Will of Hashem," as explained by the commentary of Rashi*, based on the Sifri, on the verse Re'eh* 15:4, tractate Sanhedrin 64b, the Raya Mehemna in the Zohar*, volume 3, page 125a, and the Avodas HaKodesh*, volume 2, chapter 38. בנועם קבלתי מכתבם מיום השלישי שהוכפל בו כי טוב, ר"פ דו"ח מפעולות הק' במשך השנה, וכן ההודעה ע"ד האסיפה השנתית במוצש"ק מברכין חדש אדר הבע"ל.

ויהי רצון שתצליח האסיפה להוסיף בפעולותיהם ולהוסיף מתוך מנוחה שמחה וטוב ללב,

והרי גמילות חסדים היא בין לעשירים וכו'.

ובפרט ע"פ המובן מפרק אחד עשר דהמשך-מאמר ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל,

אשר בדרא דעקבתא דמשיחא מבזבזין "כל סגולות האוצרות דהון יקר הנאסף והנקבץ במשך כמה שנים מדור אחר דור וכו' ומוסרים אותם ע"י פקידים - בשביל החיל וכו'"

אשר כמבואר בכ"מ, מהרוחניות משתלשל בגשמיות, הנה בהנ"ל - אוצרות האמורים ישתלשלו ג"כ באוצרות כפשוטם, בעגלא דידן בביאת משיח צדקנו (ע"י ניצול האוצרות הרוחניים, כמבואר בהמשך),

אשר אז תקוים בשלימותה האזהרה וההבטחה אפס כי לא יהי' בך אביון, שהרי ישראל עושים רצונו של מקום (ראה רש"י (והוא מספרי) ראה טו, ד. סנהדרין סד, ב.
