By the grace of Hashem,

7 Nissan* 5721,

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter, in which you request my blessing. At a propitious moment, all those you cite will be mentioned near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. Regarding this young man, you will surely find several friends who will be able to speak to him on several occasions, with words emanating from the heart, so that he abandons this bad path. Ultimately, the assurance has been given to us that the heart of Israel is alert. But, as I have said, one must not be affected if, the first time, he does not listen. One must speak to him again and again. It would also be good for one of his friends to set aside Tzedakah* for his merit, so that he renounce his thoughts. Since you transmitted this request to me, may Hashem grant that you give me good tidings thereof.

I have good hope that you yourself, who write to me, have a fixed time for the study of the profound teaching of the Torah*, which, in our generation, has been revealed through Chassidus*. You will therefore study it every day and, more extensively, on Shabbos*, which is holy to Hashem. With my blessing for a Kosher* and joyous festival of Pesach*,

בעת רצון יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

בהנוגע להבחור... שי' בודאי ימצא כמה ידידים שידברו עם הנ"ל פעם וכמה פעמים דברים היוצאים מן הלב שיעזוב דרכו הרעה ר"ל, והרי סוף סוף הובטחנו שלב ישראל ער הוא, אלא כנ"ל צריכים שלא להתרשם באם בפעם הראשונה לא ישמע לדבריהם ולדבר עוה"פ ועוה"פ. וגם מהנכון שמי שהוא מידידיו יפרישו לצדקה לזכות הנ"ל למען ישוב ממחשבותיו. ויהי רצון שכשם שהביא הבקשה כן יבשר טוב בזה.

התקוה חזקה שהוא הכתוב יש לו קביעות בלימוד פנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, קביעות בכל יום ובהוספה ביום השבת אשר קודש הוא לה'.
