To the attention of the directors of the summer camp Gan Yisrael*, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I reproduce here the text of the telegram that the Rebbe* Shlita* was kind enough to address to the summer camps Gan Yisrael*, in every location. The notes and references were added subsequently, by the Rebbe* Shlita* himself. With my respects and my blessing,

To the Gan Yisrael*,

I address to you my blessing of success on the occasion of the opening of the Gan Yisrael*, as well as for its entire duration (note 1: The Rebbe* notes at the bottom of the page: "See the verse Bamidbar* 27:7 and the Midrash* Tehillim* on the verse 1:5"). In this matter, the influence that the stay in the Gan will exert will be felt throughout the year, through increased physical and moral health, that of the divine soul which will accomplish the words of the Torah* and put them into practice (note 2: The Rebbe* notes at the bottom of the page: "See the commentary of the Bechaye* on the verse Devarim* 27:26") with vitality and light, until we merit the fulfillment of the promise stated in our Parshah*: "A king directs Israel" (note 3: The Rebbe* notes at the bottom of the page: "The Targum Onkelos* and the Targum Yonasan ben Uziel* say: 'It will multiply.' The Or HaChaim* specifies: 'It will be repaired.' One will consult these commentaries and will also see the Likkutei Torah*, Parshas* Balak*, at the end of the commentary on the verse: 'Who has counted?'"), which alludes to the King Moshiach* (note 4: The Rebbe* notes at the bottom of the page: "Rambam*, Laws of Kings, chapter 11"), "and Israel performs great feats."
