Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7701 — Faith & Bitachon

By the grace of Hashem,

14 Tammuz* 5721,

Brooklyn,

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of 11 Tammuz*, as well as to those that preceded it. At a propitious moment, your name will be mentioned near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that you obtain satisfaction on all the points about which you write.

You indicate to me that you remain practically the only one conducting an effort and you will understand that I am surprised by this. Indeed, various talks of our masters and leaders say, repeat, and repeat again that, each time a Jew acts for the Torah* and its Mitzvos*, there stands at his side the Unique One of the world, the King, the Supreme King, the Holy One, blessed be He. This is self-evident, especially in this generation of the heel of Moshiach* (note 1: In immediate proximity to his coming) and for everything that concerns the dissemination of the wellsprings (note 2: Of Chassidus*). A person accomplishes a little here below and, thereupon, he has the merit of witnessing an immense realization on high. Indeed, you and your friends, who are the active members of the youth of the Chabad* association, can verify all of this concretely.

We have just experienced the propitious days of the liberation (note 3: Of the Frierdiker Rebbe*, the 12th and 13th of Tammuz*, from the Soviet prisons) and may Hashem grant that each person draw from them the motivation that will enable a multiplication of efforts to disseminate the wellsprings, until the realization of "and you shall spread forth..." (note 4: "To the west and to the east, to the north and to the south") and the attainment of "an unlimited inheritance." With my blessing of success in all this, as well as to give good tidings,

במענה למכתבו מי"א תמוז והקודמיו.

בעת רצון יזכירוהו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע לכל הענינים אודותם כותב.

ומובן הפלא לכתבו שנשאר כמעט יחידי במערכה כיון שאמור נכפל ונשלש בשיחות רבותינו נשיאינו בכ"מ שבכל פעולת איש הישראלי לתורה ומצותי' נמצא עומד על ידו ופועל יחידו יחידו של עולם הוא ממה"מ הקב"ה וק"ל ובפרט בדרא דעקבתא דמשיחא ובענין הפצת המעיינות, ואדם עושה מעט מלמטה - מצליחים שהפעולה הרבה מלמעלה.

והרי רואים זה במוחש הוא וחבריו שי' הפעילים בצא"ח.

ויהי רצון שכיון שבאים אנו מימי הסגולה ימי הגאולה יקח כאו"א מההתעוררות להוסיף בהפעולות דהפצת המעינות ועד לאופן דופרצת וגו' נחלה בלי מצרים.
