To Mrs. Henya (note 1: Mrs. H. Shmotkin Erentreu),

I bless you and greet you,

I am responding to your letter of this Tuesday, when "twice the word 'good' was said" (note 2: During the third day of creation). I read with pleasure the brief description that you make therein of your activities, conducted during the final weeks of the school year, within the framework of the school Oholei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch of Kiryat Gat. I hope that within the pedagogical team of the network (note 3: Of the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch schools in the Holy Land), you will consult with one another on how to maintain contact with the students (note 4: The Rebbe* uses this term in both the masculine and feminine), during the summer vacation. It is no doubt unnecessary to explain to you the great benefit of this.

You also ask me about the date of the wedding (note 5: See the preceding letter). May Hashem grant, whatever your decision in this matter, that it be celebrated at a good and fruitful moment. With my blessing to give good tidings of what concerns you personally and of your communal accomplishments, as well as on the occasion of your birthday, for a year of success in all domains,

I am responding to the question you pose (note 6: On how to allocate her Tzedakah* contribution). You will give half of the Tzedakah* corresponding to your tithe to the schools of the network. Its second half will be for other causes. You will transmit these amounts yourself or through the intermediary of your father, to whom Hashem will grant long life.

נעם לי לקרות בו ר"פ מפעולותי' בשבועות האחרונים דשנת לימוד שעברה, בביה"ס אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש אשר בקרית גת. והתקוה שבתוככי כללות סגל המורים-ות דהרשת התייעצו איך להחזיק קשר עם התלמידים-ות במשך החופש הארוך.

והתועלת גדולה שבזה - בודאי למותר להאריך בה.
