Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7745 — Tzedakah

By the grace of Hashem,

8 Elul* 5721,

Brooklyn,

We are in the month of mercy and goodwill. In the words of the Alter Rebbe*, in his Likkutei Torah*, at the beginning of the Chassidic* discourse entitled: "I am to my Beloved and my Beloved is to me," Parshas* Devarim*, at page 32b, "the King is in the field and He welcomes each person there with benevolence."

May Hashem therefore grant that everything proceed as during "the first days" (note 1: Before the sin of the golden calf was committed), with goodwill and integrity, as when Chabad* (note 2: The faculties of the intellect) knew integrity, according to the expression of a well-known letter (note 3: See the Igros Kodesh* of the Rebbe Rashab*, volume 1, letter no. 110). So shall it be for the entirety of existence, for the quintessence and for its extension. With my blessing of success in your sacred mission, to give good tidings, and to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

יהי רצון שבכל הנ"ל יהי' כימים הראשונים ברצון בשלימות. ימי היות עניני חב"ד בשלימותם וכלשון אגה"ק הידוע, בכל המציאות העצם וההתפשטות וכו'.

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתם בקדש ולבשו"ט ולכתיבה וחתימה טובה.
