To the attention of our friend, distinguished and pleasant Chassid*

who fears Hashem, former student of the Yeshivah*, the Rav S. (note 1: Rav Shalom Posner. See, regarding him, letter no. 7767),

I greet you and bless you,

You surely received my letter of the 12th of this month and my greetings, which were conveyed to you through the intermediary of our friend, the Chassid*, Rav D. H. (note 2: Rav Dov Ber Chaskind). We have sent letters about the Tehillim* (note 3: See the preceding letter) to the synagogues, according to the list (note 4: Mentioned in letter no. 7767) that you sent me some time ago. It would be good to hasten also regarding the article intended for the newspaper (note 5: See the two preceding letters), so that it appears in its time.

We are sending you, by separate mailing, the account of the words of Acharon Shel Pesach*. We endeavor, each time that it is possible, to post them on a wall of the house of study or of the synagogue. Perhaps, in your city and in your surroundings, this is also possible. The same applies to the letter addressed to women (note 6: Printed in the Sefer Toldos Chabad Be'Artzos HaBris*, at page 210), which is disseminated among those who are concerned. I am enclosing the article published in the Morgen Journal about the Machaneh Israel*, as well as the announcement. We have inscribed your name and that of the Ramal (note 7: Rav Moshe Leib Rothstein. See letter no. 7767) in the letter addressed to Jerusalem (note 8: See the two following letters), may it be restored and rebuilt, for one can confer a merit on someone even in his absence. I send you my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good year, for an immediate Teshuvah* and an immediate redemption,

You will also convey my greetings to the Ramal. You will wish him to be inscribed and sealed for a good year. And, furthermore, it would be good for him to honor us by writing.
