Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7778 — Chinuch

Volume 21 · Letter 22

By the grace of Hashem,

19 Shevat* 5703 (note 1: 1943),

To the attention of the pleasant and distinguished Chassid*

who fears Hashem, Rav Reuven Faitelberg,

I greet you and bless you,

Our very dear and distinguished friend, the great Rav and Chassid*, Rav Moshe Leib Rothstein (note 2: See, regarding him, letter no. 7767), has written to us that he met you. He confided to us, to our satisfaction, that you are active in the field of education, that you endeavor, by every possible means, to train your students in the fear of Hashem (note 3: At Brock Island, Illinois, United States). He further asks us to send you some directives applicable to education. In this regard, we would like to ask you to provide us with more details about your school, for example the number of classes, the number and age of the students in each class, the level of their knowledge, the time that you can devote to teaching for each class. On the basis of this information, it will be easier for us to develop, with the help of Hashem, a study program for your educational institution. With our blessing for immediate Teshuvah* and immediate redemption,

You have surely received the specimen of our booklet presenting the blessing after the meal. It will surely be useful to you for the children. Its price is fifteen cents and, for a large order, only ten cents.
