I greet you and bless you,

We are sending you, by separate envelope, the album that appeared on the occasion of the gathering of the Mesibos Shabbos*, which took place on Purim*. Thank Hashem, this booklet has a positive influence on its young readers. It strengthens, moreover, the observance of Shabbos* in their private lives, invites them to take part in the activities of the Mesibos Shabbos*, as a member or as a counselor. We are convinced that you will seize this opportunity to strengthen the spirit of the young people over whom you exercise your influence. You will endeavor to disseminate this booklet among them. Furthermore, your influence also extends to a great number of teachers. Without a doubt, you will therefore use your wisdom so that they follow your example and disseminate this booklet in their school. Its price is twenty-five cents. For schools, which purchase it in large numbers, it is reduced to fifteen cents.

To follow up on all of this, I propose that you organize, in the school that you direct, groups of Mesibos Shabbos* for the young boys and the young girls. The great benefit that results from this needs no demonstration. The Rebbe* Shlita* emphasizes (note 1: In the talk of 19 Adar* 5702 (1942), published in the Sefer HaSichos* 5702, at page 163) to the counselors of these Mesibos* the necessity of ensuring that the Shabbos* blesses all the days of the week (note 2: By enabling the practice of the Torah* and the Mitzvos* in them). He elaborated on his point and his explanations were printed in the first account of the Mesibos*. An English translation is found in this booklet.
