I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter. In accordance with your request, tractate Niddah* was assigned to you during the apportioning of the Talmud* (note 1: Generally established on the 19th of Kislev*, on the occasion of the New Year of Chassidus*). Regarding the preparation that should be adopted before the wedding (note 2: In order to prepare oneself for it), my father-in-law, the Rebbe* Shlita*, told me that there is no single one that applies to all indiscriminately. It is therefore for each person to determine what suits him and I advise you to ask my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, on this subject.

Indeed, our Sages make reference, in the Mechilta*, cited by the commentary of Rashi* on the verse Yisro* 19:24, to the fact that: "the day of His wedding (note 3: That of the Holy One, blessed be He, with Israel), is the giving of the Torah*." And they say that on this occasion, "Moshe was on one side, Aharon on the other side" (note 4: Which indeed means that each had his own way of preparing for the event). ולהעיר ממרז"ל (מכילתא הובא בפרש"י יתרו יט, כד) על יום חתונתו זה מ"ת שהי' אז משה מחיצה בפ"ע אהרן מחיצה בפ"ע כו'.
