You have surely received, in their time, my previous letters, with the texts and writings that were enclosed with them. I am surprised that you have not acknowledged their receipt. I ask you to convey as quickly as possible what you will find enclosed to Rav D. Bravman (note 2: Rav David Bravman, director of publications. See, regarding him, letters no. 279, 7818, 7830, 7835, 7838, and 7840).

According to what is being said, it is necessary to establish official documents in the name of Hadassah Garelik (note 3: Mrs. H. Garelik-Perman. See, regarding her, Toldos Chabad Be'Russia HaSovietis, at pages 402, 403, and 405). Now, I am surprised by such disorder. Anyone writes whatever he pleases to whomever he pleases and, in the end, those who need help suffer for it. You will therefore kindly tell me what the situation is and what is at the origin of such a state of affairs. If it is indeed necessary to establish these official documents and if she wishes to make this trip, even though she has no employment, you will inform me of her name, her age as it appears on her identity card. It is perhaps possible that she be included in the numerus clausus of those who come from my country of origin (note 4: From the number of visas granted by American immigration to those originating from Russia).
