To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to

communal needs, Rav Y. Hecht (note 1: Rav Yaakov Yehudah Hecht. See, regarding him, letter no. 7477),

I greet you and bless you,

I received yesterday your second letter. Thank Hashem, you are well, as are all of yours. On several occasions, during the course of your trip, my father-in-law, the Rebbe* Shlita*, spoke to me about you. He told me that, in the place where you currently find yourself (note 2: In a summer camp), you are surely encouraging the fear of Hashem and disseminating it. And he asked that one write to you on this subject.

I thank you for the information that you communicated to me, concerning Mr. Horowitz, regarding the publication of the story of Bustanai. When he returns to the city, all of this will surely be settled, but, in my view, one must hasten, to every possible extent, for various reasons. Rav Sh. A. Popack (note 3: Rav Shmuel Aizik Popack) transmitted to me several questions that were asked by Mr. Horowitz and I am enclosing the response that I gave him. You will kindly return the copy to me, after having read it. I conclude by wishing you healing, physically and spiritually, together with the members of your family. Furthermore, you will give me good news, in all domains,

אתמול קבלתי מכתבו השני, ות"ל על השלום אתו ואת כל ב"ב יחיו.

איזה פעמים בעת נסעו דיבר אתי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א אודותיו, ואמר לי, אשר בטח מתעסק הוא במקומות היותו עתה בעניני התעוררות וליראת שמים והפצה, ושיכתבו לו עד"ז.

ת"ח על ידיעתו אודות מר האראוויץ בענין הדפסת הסיפור בוסתנאי, וכשיחזור העירה בטח יסודר הדבר, וגם לדעתי צריך למהר בדבר עד כמה שאפשר ומכמה טעמים.

הרש"א שי' פאפאק מסר לי איזה שאלות ממר האראוויץ, והנני מסג"פ המענה שלי אליו, ומטובו להחזיר לי הקאפיא אחרי קריאתו אותה.

אסיים באיחול שיבריא הן בגשמיות הן ברוחניות, הוא וכב"ב שיחיו, וישמיע בשו"ט בכל הפרטים.
