I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of 26 Tishrei* and of the eve of Yom Kippur*, which reached me yesterday, for it was not sent by airmail:

A) I am enclosing the Chassidic* discourse of 13 Tishrei* and a letter addressed to all by the Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch*. The talk of the Simchas Torah* meal has already been sent to the office (note 3: The refugee aid office in Paris, directed by Rav Binyamin Gorodetski), so that it could be copied and transmitted to the various settlements of the Chassidim*, as well as to the students of the Yeshivah*.

B) You will add what you can to the Mezuzah* (note 4: A hundred-dollar bill, intended for the publication of books) that is in your possession. This also falls under my responsibility. Above all, one must urge Rav Bravman (note 5: Rav David Bravman, director of publications. See, regarding him, letter no. 7817) to act with eagerness and do so repeatedly. He must no longer accumulate delays. He must finally publish these works and send them. I thank you for your intervention in this matter. Greeting all those who are with you,

א) מוסג"פ המאמר די"ג תשרי, ומכ' כללי מהמל"ח. שיחת סעודת שמח"ת נשלחה להלשכה, ע"מ שיעת[יקוה] ויתנ[וה] לקיבוצי אנ"ש והתמימים.

ב)... יוסיף כמה שיוכל על מזוזה אחת שנמצא כבר אצל כת"ר - הרי אני אחראי גם בעד זה. והעי[קר] לזרז, וכמה פעמים, את הר"ד בראוומאן שלא יעכב עוד וימהר בהדפסה ושילוח. ות"ח בעד טרחתו.
