To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Sh. Ch. (note 1: Rav Shlomo Chaim Kasselman, then in Paris. See, regarding him, letter no. 7816),

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of 8 Mar Cheshvan*:

A) I am enclosing the Chassidic* discourse of 13 Tishrei* so that it may be made available to the greatest number, as well as a letter addressed to all by the Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch* (note 2: See the preceding letter).

B) I duly received, in their time, the requests for blessing from the end of the month of Elul*, for yourself and for the members of your family.

C) The receipts, according to the list of 27 Elul*, have already been sent to you (note 3: Rav Kasselman was, indeed, collecting contributions for the financing of the Yeshivah*. See letter no. 7836).

D) A letter of blessing from my father-in-law, the Rebbe* Shlita*, was sent to all those (note 4: Among these donors) whose address is known. If these letters did not reach their destination, it is no doubt because they went astray. Greeting all those who are with you,
