To the sons and daughters of Israel of the city of New York

and its surroundings, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

This year is the ninth since the founding of the educational institutions for girls Beis Rivkah*, by the Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch*, in accordance with the instructions given by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us. Thank Hashem, these schools have grown, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The students who attend them receive a good education, based on the Torah* and the fear of Hashem.

My father-in-law, the Rebbe, may he rest in peace, attached enormous importance to these institutions, which he defined as indispensable for the continuity of the house of Israel. Regularly, particularly on the occasion of their annual celebrations, he would issue an affectionate appeal, a request, a plea, with the aim of drawing the attention of the broad public to the imperative duty, the merit, for every Jewish man and every Jewish woman, to strengthen the Beis Rivkah* schools that already exist, to allow their development and expansion, as well as the creation of new branches.

The words of the righteous and the leaders of Israel are immutable. After the passing of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, may he rest in peace, we must always remember his instructions, in general, and currently, the one that is of present relevance, in particular, that is, the necessity of strengthening as broadly as possible these schools that were so dear to his eyes.

Those who devote themselves to the schools of the Beis Rivkah* organization and, at their head, the Chassid*, great Rav, zealous communal leader, who disseminates the Torah* and good education, Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yisrael Jacobson, are organizing an annual celebration that will take place, with the help of Hashem, on the coming 20 Iyar*. I therefore issue an appeal to every Jewish man, every Jewish woman who is concerned with the fate of young girls, that all contribute their participation, physical and financial, through their action and by causing others to act, for the benefit of these institutions, in general, and of the annual celebration, in particular.

I am certain that the blessings of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, may he rest in peace, granted to each of the participants in the strengthening of the Beis Rivkah* schools, will be fulfilled in you and in the members of your family. In this way, you will be blessed with all material and spiritual good. I conclude by greeting you and giving you my blessing for all the best,

זוהי השנה התשיעית מאז נוסדו מוסדות החינוך לנערות "בית רבקה" על ידי המרכז לעניני חנוך, על פי הוראת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הכ"מ.

ותהלה לא-ל, גדלו המוסדות האלה בכמות ובאיכות, והתלמידות הלומדות שם מתחנכות בחנוך כשר על יסודות התורה ויראת שמים.

מאד מאד החשיב כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ את המוסדות האלה, בתור הכרחיות לקיום בית ישראל, ומדי פעם בפעם ובפרט לרגלי החגיגות השנתיות, יצא בקריאה של חיבה בקשה ודרישה להעיר תשומת לב הציבור הרחב על גודל החובה והזכות של כל איש ואשה בישראל להחזיק את המוסדות "בית רבקה" אשר קיימות מכבר ולאפשר התפתחותם והרחבתם ויסוד סניפים חדשים.

דברי צדיקים ומנהיגי ישראל קיימים לעד. וגם אחרי הסתלקות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ עלינו לזכור תמיד את הוראותיו בכלל ועתה בפרט בענין שהזמן גרמא, להתעורר ולהתאמץ ביתר שאת בהחזקת המוסדות, שכל כך יקרו בעיניו.

המתעסקים במסדות החנוך "ארגון בית רבקה", ובראשם הרה"ח והרה"ג עסקן חרוץ בהרבצת תורה וחינוך הכשר וו"ח אי"א מוהר"ר ישראל שיחי' דזשייקאבסאן, מסדרים חגיגה שנתית אשר תתקיים אי"ה ביום כ' אייר הבע"ל.

והנני פונה בקריאת התעוררות לכל איש ואשה בישראל אשר גורל בנות ישראל נוגע ללבם, להשתתף בחגיגה שנתית זו בגופם ובמאודם, להיות עושים ומעשים לטובת המיסדות האלה בכלל ולטובת החגיגה השנתית בפרט.

ומובטחני אשר ברכות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ אשר ברך את כל המשתתפים בהחזקת המוסדות "בית רבקה" - יקויימו בהם ובבני ביתם יחיו להתברך בכל טוב בגשמיות וברוחניות.
