By the grace of Hashem,

21 Tammuz* 5710,

I greet you and bless you,

I received, this morning, your letter of 17 Tammuz*, informing me of the removal of the tonsils of your son, on this day. In accordance with your request, I mentioned his name in the sanctuary of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, may he rest in peace, where he would grant audiences and distribute blessings. Without a doubt, Hashem will grant you His blessing that everything goes well. You will educate him, together with your other children, to Torah*, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds, in the manner in which the Chassidim* understand these terms.

No doubt you will let me know that everything went well and that your son has fully recovered. Wishing you all the best,

I am a little surprised that you speak to me about the physical condition of your son, without saying anything about his spirituality, about his studies.

וע"פ בקשתו הזכרתיו בהיכל כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ שבו נכנסים ליחידות ולנתינת פ"נ, ובטח ישלח השי"ת את ברכתו שיהי' הכל כשורה ויגדלו עם שאר ילדיו שי' לתורה חומע"ט און [ווי] חסידים פארשטיין דאס.

בודאי יודיע מאשר עבר הכל בשלום ובנו שי' שב לאיתנו.
