To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Pinchas (note 2: Rav P. Ostreicher),

I greet you and bless you,

I received, in its time, your request for blessing through the intermediary of the Rav, distinguished and pleasant Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Menachem Zeev Gringlass (note 3: Of Montreal. See, regarding him, letter no. 7774), but, due to my many activities, the holidays and the days of Tishrei*, my response was delayed until now. In any case, a blessing is always appropriate. I therefore wish you, as well as your wife, a good and sweet year, both materially and spiritually. And, during this year, may the wish of your heart be positively fulfilled (note 4: Presumably that of having a child).

From time to time, you will picture to yourself the portrait of your master, the author of the Minchas Elazar*. Furthermore, you will endeavor to provide for the moral sustenance of others. In this way, Hashem will nourish you amply, both morally and spiritually. With my blessing,

וברכה בכל עת זמנה היא, ואברכו ואת זוגתו תחי' בשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, שנת מילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה.

יצייר לעצמו מזמן לזמן צורת רבו - בעהמ"ס מנח"א - וישתדל בפרנסת אחרים ברוחניות, והשי"ת יפרנסו בהרחבה בגו"ר.
