By the grace of Hashem,

To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Avraham (note 1: Rav A. Pariz. See, regarding him, letter no. 7854),

I greet you and bless you,

Your letters reach me in their time. I thank you for having written until now and I ask you to continue to do so in the future, but not to be brief when it is necessary and important to be precise. And, the answer according to which perhaps... (note 2: This might be a disturbance for the Rebbe), in this matter, is an argument emanating from the "little clever one" (note 3: The evil inclination). The latter, as a saying of the Rebbe (note 4: Rashab*, father of the Previous Rebbe) specifies, can also drape himself in a "silk frock coat" (note 5: Assume the appearance of holiness). I therefore await your detailed letters, in all domains. The longer they are, the better.

On the occasion of the festival of Shavuos*, which approaches, I send you my blessing, as well as to the members of your family, to "receive the Torah* with joy and in a profound manner," according to the formula of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. And, may Hashem grant that the opportunities currently given to the Chassidim* in the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, not be wasted, that the wellsprings (note 6: Of Chassidus*) be disseminated there with considerable success. May Hashem grant us the true and complete redemption, through our righteous Moshiach*. With my blessing on the occasion of the festival,

שמחתי לקבל את מכתבו מערב שבת קודש ,וכן קבלתי ממשפחתו
צלום הרשיון שניתן לו לגדל זקן ופאות וכר.
והשם יתברך יצליחו תמיד כל הימים -שיוכל ללמוד תורה ולקיים
מצות מתוך הרחבה.
וכפי שכתבתי לו -להשפיע גם על הךובךה שלו ,הרי גם אם ככתבו
שיש רק יהודי אחד בחברה שלו ,הרי גם המקיים נפש אחת מישראל
כאילו קיים עולם מלא ,ובפרט שהנני סבור שישנם יהודים רבים אלא
שהוא אינו יודע מהם .כדאי לחפש ,ומסתמא זהו בהשגחה פרטית,
שיוכל לקרבם ליהדות.
מצו״ב מה שיוצא לאור לשבועות הבא עלינו לטובה ,שודאי יוכל
לשמש אותו באמור לעיל.
