To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Yisrael Noach (note 1: Rav I. N. Belinitski. See, regarding him, letter no. 7926),

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of Thursday of Parshas* Vayishlach (note 2: The 16th of Kislev*), informing me that you wish to organize a fundraising campaign in England (note 3: See, on this subject, letter no. 7932). I have written, today, once more, to the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav B. T. (note 4: Rav Ben Tzion Shem Tov, of London), emissary of the sages. You will be able to write to him yourself immediately.

You have surely organized a Chassidic* gathering for 19 Kislev*, as well as during the days of Chanukah*, in the appropriate manner. No doubt you will not fail to let me know, in detail. You know to what extent my father-in-law, the Rebbe, endeavored that on such occasions, there also be present those who, for the time being, are still on the outside (note 5: Are not yet Chassidim*). Indeed, such was the response of Moshiach* (note 6: To the Baal Shem Tov* who asked him when he would come): "When your wellsprings spread outward." With my blessing for good health and awaiting your good news,

בודאי ערכו התועדות בי"ט כסלו וכן בימי חנוכה באופן המתאים, ובטח לא ימנע הטוב מלהודיעני עד"ז בפרטיות. וידוע עד כמה השתדל כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר לצרף לענינים כמו אלו גם מאנשים הנמצאים לע"ע בחוצה. וה"ז ג"כ בדיוק מענת המשיח: יפוצו מעינותיך חוצה.
