To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Yisrael Noach (note 1: Rav I. N. Belinitski, of Brunoy, in the Parisian region. See, regarding him, letter no. 7926),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of Shabbos* Parshas* Vaeira* (note 2: The 29th of Teves*) and, today, I received the request for blessing from those who reside in Prima (note 3: One of the hotels in the Parisian region where the Chassidim* resided). I will read it, without making a vow of it, when I am near the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. Regarding your trip to the Holy Land (note 4: Where Rav Belinitski was considering settling), may it be restored and rebuilt, you ask me for a quick reply. And, you begin your letter by stating that, in my opinion, it would be advisable for you to go to the Holy Land. It seems to me, however, that I wrote to you that one must take into account the active part you take, in the place where you currently find yourself, in an institution (note 5: The Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch* of Brunoy) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. Now, it will not be the same in the Holy Land. Indeed, according to the information that reaches here from there, it does not seem that such a possibility will be granted to you there, today even less than previously. I am surprised that, in your letter, you do not consider this essential and profound point.

You also ask me whether you should travel in Adar* or later. You will understand, from what is said above, that any delay is for the good. May Hashem suggest to you the right idea. You will make your decision and you will do what is best for you and therefore also for your wife, which will be the good both material and spiritual. With my blessing,

קבלתי מכתו מע"ש וארא, והיום נתקבל ג"כ הפ"נ מדיירי פרימא, שאקראהו בל"נ בהיותי על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

בנוגע למ"ש בענין הנסיעה לאה"ק ת"ו ומבקש תשובה בהקדם אלא שמתחיל במכתבו, שלדעתי שסברא נכונה היא שיסע לאה"ק ת"ו,

הנה כמדומה, שבמכתבי הנ"ל כתבתי ג"כ שעליו לקחת בחשבון שבמקומו עתה הנה לוקח הוא חלק פעיל במוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע צי"ע נשיא ישראל, משא"כ באה"ק ת"ו וכו' וכו', ושכפי הידיעות שמתקבלים משם עתה, הנה עוד יותר מאשר מלפנים - שבדרך הטבע אין נראה שתהי' לו שם אפשריות כזו. ולפלא שבמכתבו זה אינו מזכיר דבר בהנוגע לנקודה עיקרית ופנימית זו.

ובנוגע לשאלתו אם יסע בחדש אדר או לאחר כך - הנה ע"פ הנ"ל מובן, שכל העכבה לטובה. והשי"ת יתן לו הרעיון הנכון להחליט ולעשות באופן היותר טוב לפניו, ובמילא גם לפני זוגתו תחי' אשר כגופו דמיא, והטוב - בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
