Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7947 — Faith & Bitachon
Volume 21 · Letter 191
By the grace of Hashem,
16 Shevat* 5713,
Brooklyn, New York,
To the Rebbetzin*, Mrs. Chana (note 1: Rebbetzin* Ch. Goldstein. See, regarding her, letters no. 810 and 7977),
I bless you and greet you,
You write to me, in your letter, that you are disappointed (note 2: By an action to disseminate family purity that had not borne fruit). That is the reason you have ceased carrying out activities for family purity. It is however quite clear that this reason is not sufficient. Indeed, Hashem has to deal with us numerous times and He is not disappointed by it for all that. One must therefore draw the lesson from this and not be weary of bringing other Jews closer, men or women, young or old, to the Torah* and the Mitzvos*, by all possible means. And, we have the assurance that by doing so seriously, with real determination, we will know success, sooner or later.
You also write to me about the Mikveh* of your city. I am surprised that, among all the young people who came to see me, including your husband, no one spoke to me about it. I will therefore endeavor to clarify this situation, at the first opportunity. With my blessing for Chassidic* satisfaction from all your children, together with your husband,
M. Schneerson,
