To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Avraham (note 1: Rav Avraham Pariz. See, regarding him, letter no. 7854),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letters of 19 Teves* and 8 Shevat*, as well as the list of students of Toras Emes* (note 2: The Lubavitch Yeshivah* of Yerushalayim*) who received the Chanukah* money. I also received your request for blessing for 10 Shevat*:

A) Despite all the letters I receive, I still do not know what has been done for the children who are being lured to the missionaries (note 3: By going to recruit them from the vocational school of Kfar Chabad*. See, on this subject, letter no. 7913). It seems that, for the time being, the initiative, in this domain, is being passed from one group of Chassidim* to another, so that no one is actually dealing with it. Now, for the reasons I wrote to you, the initiative cannot emanate officially from the network (note 4: Of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak schools in the Holy Land) and even less from the Yeshivah* of Lod. Conversely, I have been given the assurance, in a quasi-official manner, that, if everything is in order, the building and the pedagogy, they will cover practically all the expenses. It is a pity not to seize this opportunity. Now, it is difficult to express and evaluate the importance of all this, in the moral domain.

B) Regarding the agricultural situation of the Kfar* (note 5: Originally, the essential activity of Kfar Chabad* was intended to be agricultural), some do not take part in it and do not even think of doing so, which is painful. These same people are nevertheless registered on the list of farmers, in the hope that they will be granted, by this means, some right or other, when in reality, this will cause harm to those who have genuinely adopted an agricultural activity. With my blessing to derive Chassidic* satisfaction from all your children and, all the more so, from yourself, as well as for good health and the immense merit of announcing only good news, always and every day,

Regarding the editing of the Chassidic* discourses and what was explained during the Chassidic* gathering (note 6: Rav Pariz was asking why the texts were not published), this is attributable to the lack of time.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו מי"ט טבת וט' שבט וכן רשימת התלמידים דתו"א שקבלו דמי חנוכה, וג"כ הפ"נ דיו"ד שבט.

... ג) לאחר כל המכתבים המתקבלים, ווייס איך ניט קיין טאלק, מה נעשה בענין ההשתדלות אודות הילדים שמפתים אותם המיסיאן, שכנרא, לע"ע נשאר זה בין קבוצה אחת מאנ"ש להשני' ובמילא אין כל אחד מתעסק בזה. כי, מהטעמים שכתבתי, אי אפשר שיהי' באופן רשמי נקשר עם הרשת ופשיטא שלא עם ישיבת לוד. אבל, לאידך גיסא, כיון שהבטיחו לי כמעט אופיציעל שאם יהי' באופן המתאים, הבנין והפעדאגאגיא, יתנו אז כמעט את כל ההוצאה, חבל שלא להשתמש בהזדמנות זו. וביאור בגדול ענין זה ברוחניות - אין להעריך ואין לשער.

... ה) בנוגע להחלקאות דהכפר, הנה גם זה מצער, שכפי השמועה ישנם שם כאלו שאינם שייכים וגם אינם חושבים ע"ד חקלאות, ובכ"ז נרשמו ברשימת החקלאים פן ואולי יזכו עי"ז בדבר מה, שאף שיגרום נזק להחקלאים באמת...

בברכה לנחת חסידותי מכל יו"ח, ומעצמו - לא כש"כ, לבריאות הנכונה ולהזכות היותר גדול לבשר אך טוב תכה"י...

בנוגע לההוצאה לאור דהמאמרים והנדבר בהתועדות, הנה כל זה תלוי בחוסר הפנאי.
