To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Saadia (note 1: Rav S. Liberov. See, regarding him, letter no. 7897),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of 16 Adar*, with the notes that were enclosed with it. I also received a letter from Casablanca, informing me that you have already arrived there (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 7937), at a good and fruitful moment. I am surprised that you did not notify me of this by telegram. May Hashem come to your aid and grant you success, so that by changing your place, you also change your Mazal*, for the good and for blessing. Your action, in the vineyard of Chabad*, within an institution of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, will be fruitful and this will bring you increased blessing and success, including in your personal concerns, as well as in those of the members of your family. I enclose a booklet, published recently. With my blessing for a kosher and joyous Pesach* holiday,

נתקבל מכתבו מאור ט"ז אדר עם הרשימות המצו"ב. כן קבלתי מכתב מקסבלנקה, אשר כבר בא לשם בשעה טובה ומוצלחת, ולפלא שלא הודיע עד"ז במברק. והשי"ת יעזרהו ויצליחו, שיה' משנה מקום משנה מזל לטובה ולברכה, ויצליח בעבודתו בכרם חב"ד במוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע צי"ע, אשר זה ימשיך לו תוספת ברכה והצלחה גם בעניים הפרטים - שלו ושל ב"ב שיחיו.
