Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7968 — General

Volume 21 · Letter 212 · To: distingué ‘Hassid qui craint D.ieu et se consacre

By the grace of Hashem,

15 Sivan* 5713,

Brooklyn, New York,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Shlomo (note 1: Rav Sh. Perin, of London. See, regarding him, letter no. 7965),

I greet you and bless you,

I received your first telegram, informing me that your wife must undergo an operation. Then, your second telegram announced to me that it went well. I await further news, in detail, on this subject. And, I express the wish that from this day forward, you transmit to me only good news, of yourself and of your family, as well as of your activity to elevate the lot of the Torah* and of Judaism, in general. In this regard, you caused me much pleasure by writing to me that you are helping the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Eliezer Karasik, in his mission (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 7965). One knows the assurance of our Sages according to which, when one acts sincerely, one receives the help of Hashem. Awaiting your good news,
