You ask me about the Sefer HaYashar*. You will see what is said about it in the Shem HaGedolim*, by the Chida*, under that entry. Regarding the Yosifon*, it is known that modifications and even falsifications have been introduced into it. The analysis of a specialist in this matter is still necessary. Concerning such questions, in general, one knows the teaching of our Sages, which is reported by tractate Shabbos* 140b, according to which: "where there are vegetables, there can be meat and fish" (note 1: There exist better works on the subject), and, all the more so, that which is not even certainly a vegetable (note 2: It is not certain that this is a reliable book).

בשאלתו ע"ד ס' הישר - יראה מש"כ בזה בס' שה"ג לחיד"א בערכו. ובענין ס' היוסיפון - ידוע שכמה שינויים (וגם זיופים) הוכנסו לתוכו ועניניו דורשים בקורת מומחה במקצוע. ובכללות שאלות כגון אלו ידועה הוראת חז"ל היכא דעייל ירקא ליעול בשרא וכוורי (שבת קמ, ב). ובפרט כשספק אם גם ירקא הוא.
