I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 5 Menachem Av*, as well as the two booklets, the account of receipts and expenses from Cheshvan* to Iyar*, this year (note 2: Of the Yeshivah* of Brunoy). I thank you very much. As you have already written to me, you have surely received students for the vacation period. One can hope that at least some of them will continue their studies afterwards (note 3: Beyond the vacation period, devoting themselves to study), in the tent of the Torah*. May Hashem grant you success.

I enclose the booklet that has just appeared and you will surely make it available to the greatest number. May Hashem transform, very soon, these days (note 4: Separating the fasts of 17 Tammuz* and 9 Av*) into joy and gladness. It is indeed good to welcome the students from Spain, which also includes keeping their brothers. As for the students from Morocco who are with you but wish to return home, it is important to prevent them from doing so, in a pleasant manner, unless this could result in harm for all, which Heaven forbid. בטח כמו שכותב במכתבו מכבר, קבלו כמה תלמידים לימי החופש, אשר אז יש לקוות שמקצתם ישארו גם אח"כ ללמוד, ועכ"פ באהלה של תורה. והשי"ת יצליחם.

מוסג"פ הקונטרס שהו"ל זה עתה. ובטח יזכה בו את הרבים. והשי"ת יהפוך ימים אלו לששון ולשמחה בעגלא דידן.

הת' דאיספניא - כדאי לקבלם - (וזהו האלטן גם את אחיהם). הת' דמרוקו שאצלם ורוצים לנסוע- נחוץ למנעם מזה (בדרכי נועם) - מלבד במקום שיש חשש קלקול להכלל, ח"ו.
