Igrot Kodesh · Letter 7977 — General

Volume 21 · Letter 223

By the grace of Hashem,

1st day of Rosh Chodesh* Elul* 5713,

Brooklyn,

To Mrs. Chana (note 1: Mrs. Ch. Goldstein. See, regarding her, letter no. 7947),

I bless you and greet you,

I received, with pleasure, your letter of 15 Menachem Av*, in which you describe the activities you are carrying out in everything that concerns family purity. You also tell me that you have reprinted the brochure of Dr. Smithline (note 2: See, on this subject, the Igros Kodesh* of the Rebbe Rayatz*, volume 2, letter no. 504). Regarding the cover letter accompanying this brochure, it is quite evident that it must be written in English and its content will be the following:

"We are convinced that the enclosed brochure will interest you. This is the reason we are sending it to you. If we can be of service to you, by providing you with details about the laws or by communicating addresses to you, we are ready to do so, with the greatest joy."

I was also satisfied to read, in your letter, that the bitterness you experienced, as president, is now a thing of the past. May Hashem grant you success in your activity also in the future. With my blessing for success, as well as to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

M. Schneerson,
