I greet you and bless you,

Some time ago, the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav B. E. Gorodetski (note 1: Rav Binyamin Eliyahu Gorodetski, director of the refugee aid bureau, in Paris), wrote to me that, among your functions, you also held a position within the network (note 2: Of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak schools in the Holy Land). He communicated this information to me with satisfaction and I therefore learned with great astonishment that you had resigned from it. I do not know the reason and I therefore do not wish to formulate my opinion, at first glance. I await, first of all, a letter that will explain all of this to me or, better still, a letter that will tell me that you have fully resumed your functions, with all the necessary power. And, you will consult what is explained, regarding the power of the soul, in the Chassidic* discourse of the Admur HaZaken* contained in the Kuntres Toras HaChassidus* (note 3: Of which the Previous Rebbe is the author) and in the references indicated therein. This was also discussed in the discourse delivered this year, on Shabbos* Parshas* Re'eh*, which blesses the month of Elul*. Thanks to this power, the soul will act broadly and in an expansive manner, therefore with considerable success. May Hashem grant you success in your sacred mission and therefore also in what concerns you personally. With my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

זה מכבר שכתב לי הרה"ג והרה"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוהרב"א שי' גאראדעצקי, אשר בתוך שאר סדרי העבודה, הנה - הוא לקח על עצמו תפקיד מיוחד בעבודת הרשת.

והנ"ל, כתב עד"ז בקורת רוח, ומה תמהתי לקבל ידיעה, אשר התפטר ממשרתו זו.

כיון שאיני יודע פרטי הדברים, איני רוצה לכתוב עד"ז חוות דעתי במשקל הראשון.

ואחכה למכתב מבאר הנ"ל, או מה טוב - מכתב מודיע שחזר למשמרתו ולאיתנו, (ויעויין בענין איתן שבנפש מאמר רבינו הזקן הנדפס בקונטרס תורת החסידות ובמאמרים שנסמנו שם. ונדבר ע"ז גם בד"ה ראה דש"ק מברכים אלול השתא), היינו שבאיתן ולתוקף הנשמה יפעול בהתרחבות ובהתפשטות, ובמילא גם בהצלחה מופלגה. והשי"ת ימשיך לו הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש, ובמילא גם בעניניו הפרטים.
