You ask me about what I wrote to you (note 2: This refers to letter no. 485), some time ago, regarding your book (note 3: "The Festivals in the Halachah*"), in the chapter on Lag BaOmer*. I was simply citing as a reference the responsa Divrei Nechemyah, which mention the Pri Etz Chaim*, Gate 22, chapter 7. Furthermore, in the chapters dealing with the Days of Awe (note 4: Rosh Hashanah* and Yom Kippur*) and the holiday of Sukkos*, perhaps it would be good to introduce the corresponding elements of the Chabad* customs and their sources, in accordance with what is printed in the Rosh Hashanah* and Sukkos* booklets of last year or of previous years.

You tell me that you went to a health resort and I am satisfied. May Hashem strengthen your state of health and may you redouble your ardor in your activities for the Torah*, the Mitzvos*, and the fear of Hashem. With my blessing that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year,
