As our Sages say in tractate Bava Metzia* 86a, it is clear that this has no limits (note 1: This statement refers to the expenses for a wedding. See, on this subject, letter no. 3092). Perhaps the argument is justified, up to a certain point (note 2: According to which a wedding must be celebrated with splendor). Nevertheless, it is known that our masters have always followed the middle path. This is no doubt what the Chassidim* on site are doing.
