May Hashem cause to be fulfilled in you the explanation of the Admur HaZaken* (note 3: In the Torah Or*, Bereishis*, at page 1b), regarding the verse: "Tzedakah* elevates a nation," according to which Tzedakah* brings elevation to the forces of the mind. Above all, for what concerns you, it refines the brain and the heart, in order to perceive and understand our holy Torah*, its revealed part and Chassidus*, with ardor, constancy, and enthusiasm.
