By the grace of Hashem,
28 Shevat* 5714,

To the directors of the Yeshivah* Toras Emes*,
in the holy city of Yerushalayim*,
may it be restored and rebuilt,
may Hashem grant you long life,
I greet you and bless you,
You will kindly organize a Chassidic* gathering (note 1: An identical letter was addressed to the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod. See, on this subject, letter no. 2459), with the participation of all the students. One will study there the Chassidic* discourse of the day of the Hilloula* (note 2: Of the Previous Rebbe, the 10th of Shevat*), entitled: "I have come into my garden," of 5710, in its entirety or in part. The spiritual guides will lead this gathering. They will explain what a leader of the generation is, in general, and a leader of Chabad*, in particular, basing themselves on the letter that appears in the introduction to the booklet of 12 Tammuz* 5710. Indeed, the shepherd has not abandoned his flock and he will not abandon it. Of course, all of this must be commented upon in accordance with the participants.
It is clear that from every gathering there must follow a final resolution and how much more so is this the case here. Regarding those who devote themselves to the Torah*, this resolution must take the form of increased ardor in the study of the revealed part of the Torah* and of Chassidus*. Awaiting good news on this subject, and addressing to you my blessing of success in your sacred mission,

... ומטובם לעשות התועדות בהשתתפות כל התלמידים, ואחרי אשר ילמדו המאמר דיום ההסתלקות ד"ה באתי לגני ה'שי"ת (כולו או מקצתו) יתועדו המשפיעים עם הנ"ל בביאור ענין נשיא הדור בכלל ונשיא חב"ד בפרט. וע"פ המבואר בהמכתב שבהקדמת הקונטרס די"ב תמוז השי"ת, ולא עזב ולא יעזוב הרועה את צאן מרעיתו, כמובן בתוספת ביאור מתאים להמתועדים.
ומובן אשר אם מכל התועדות צ"ל בכן, הרי עאכו"כ מהתועדות כהנ"ל ובנוגע לבני תורה היינו בכן בתוספת אומץ בלימוד תורת הנגלה ובתורת החסידות.
