By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

I respond to your letter of 20 Kislev* and I thank you very much for the good news you communicate to me, since you announce that you organized a Chassidic* gathering on the occasion of the luminous day of 19 Kislev*, that of the deliverance of the Admur HaZaken*, author of the Tanya* and Decisor of the hidden part of the Torah*, author of the Shulchan Aruch* and Decisor of the revealed part of the Torah*, date of our deliverance and of the freedom of our souls. Moreover, there was a first one the preceding night, then another the following night. According to the well-known saying from the first generations of Chassidus*, "what a Chassidic* gathering can accomplish is immense and grandiose, so that the angel Michael himself, the protector of Israel, cannot accomplish its equivalent." May Hashem therefore grant that this Chassidic* gathering confer blessing and success upon all its participants and the members of their family, in all their needs.

As you request, I will mention your name and that of all the participants near the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, leader of Israel, at a propitious moment. The name of this young man will be cited as well, so that he have good health and that his parents educate him to the Torah*, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds. As for the other person, it would be judicious for her to put into practice, in the best manner, the laws of the Mikveh* and of family purity. She must therefore immerse in a Mikveh* of rainwater or of spring water, but not of city water that is conveyed through pipes and machines. This, in particular, will strengthen the health of her children.

You surely read Tehillim* each day, after the morning prayer of Shacharis*, according to their monthly division. Moreover, you will endeavor that your acquaintances do the same, for this practice was instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. With my blessing for success in your sacred mission,

במענה על מכתבו מכ' כסלו. ת"ח ת"ח על הבשו"ט מאשר התועדו ביום הבהיר הוא י"ט כסלו, ב[ו יום גאולתו של] רבינו הזקן בעל התניא - פוסק בנסתר דתורה - והשולחן ערוך- פוסק בנגלה דתורה- והוא יום גאולתנו ופדות נפשנו - התועדות בלילה שלפניו והתועדות בלילה שלאחריו.

ועל פי פתגם הנודע מדורות הראשונים של תורת החסידות, אשר בהתועדות חסידותית יכולים לפעול גדולות ונצורות אשר אפילו מלאך מיכאל שרם על ישראל אינו יכול לפעול, הנה יצליח השי"ת שההתועדות הנ"ל תביא לכל המשתתפים ברכה והצלחה בהמצטרך להם ולבני ביתם שיחיו.

כבקשתו אזכירו ואת המשתתפים על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אמדו"ר זצוקלל"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל בעת רצון. וכן את הנער... שי' לבריאות, ושהוריו שיחיו יגדלוהו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.

וצריך הי' אשר... מהדר בקיום דיני מקוה וטהרת המשפחה, היינו לטבול במקוה של מי גשמים או מעיין, ולא במימי העיר הנמדדים ונמשכים דרך כלים ומכונות שונות, שזה בפרט ימשיך תוספת בבריאות ילידי' שיחיו.

בטח אומר תהלים בכל יום אחר תפלת שחרית - כפי שנחלק לימי

החודש - ומשתדל אשר גם מכיריו ישמרו את זה, שזהו מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
