By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

In general, a saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, applies to those who consider themselves to be at the forefront of Chabad*: it may be so as far as they are concerned, but not toward others (note 1: One can exercise rigor toward oneself, but not toward others). May Hashem therefore grant that this idea be henceforth well understood. The institutions of the network (note 2: Of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* schools) are the schools of all Jewish children and it is to such an education that my father-in-law, the Rebbe, devoted his will, his strength, his eagerness. Those who maintain a certain relationship with him must therefore, at least when they have free time that they devote to reading newspapers or to ordinary discussions, limit themselves somewhat in these activities and reflect on what concerns the network, devote those few moments to the domains of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, in order to arrange and develop them, rather than issuing criticisms without concrete effect.

Of course, I do not refer to one specific person, but to several Chassidim* who are outside of Eretz Yisrael* or even in "the land upon which always the eyes of Hashem are directed, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year."

... בכלל מנהגי דשפיץ חב"ד ידוע בזה פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שצריכים להיות בנוגע לעצמו ולא בנוגע לזולתו...

ויה"ר שעכ"פ מכאן ולהבא יוקלט (זאל זיך אפלייגן) הרעיון, אשר מוסדות הרשת הם מוסדות חינוך לילדי ישראל, ואשר על חינוך מעין זה מסר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר את רצונו כחותיו ומרצו, ועל אותם שיש להם איזה שייכות אליו, הרי, עכ"פ בזמנים הפנוים שאז קוראים עתון או מדברים בדברי הרשות - יש לצמצם בהנ"ל ולהתבונן בעניני הרשת ולהקדיש רגעים אלו להתענינות בענינים של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר כדי לתקן את הדבר ולפתחו, ולא לשום בקורת לשמה בלי תכלית.

מובן שבכל הנ"ל אין כוונתי לאיש יחידי, אלא לכו"כ מאנ"ש אשר בחוץ לארץ ואפילו לאנ"ש אשר בארץ אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית [ה]שנה ועד אחרית שנה...
