Igrot Kodesh · Letter 8072 — Tzedakah
Volume 21 · Letter 319 · To: distingué ‘Hassid qui craint D.ieu et se consacre
By the grace of Hashem,
21 Marcheshvan* 5716,
Brooklyn,
To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself
to communal needs, of virtuous conduct, Rav Shlomo (note 1: Rav Sh. Perin, of London. See, regarding him, letter no. 7965),
I greet you and bless you,
After a long interruption, I was satisfied to receive your letter of 15 Cheshvan*. I hope that you took advantage of the days of Tishrei* to strengthen Jewish practice in your circle. Indeed, it is easy to motivate oneself during the days of this month. It is then easier to reveal the point of Judaism that ordinarily remains hidden, although it is necessary to do so throughout the year as well. May the merit of all of this bring an increased blessing and success in your personal concerns, including in the material domain.
I enclose the Kovetz Lubavitch*. You will be able to use part of its content for what has just been said (note 2: To disseminate Jewish practice). Thank Hashem, you announce to me a good piece of news concerning the state of your wife. May Hashem grant that you announce to me good news, always and every day, concerning yourself, your family, and all your circle. With my blessing for success and for giving good news of all of this,
M. Schneerson,
