To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and

assumes a sacred mission (note 1: Teaching), Rav Yitzchak (note 2: Rav I. Gansburg. See, regarding him, letter no. 8042),

I greet you and bless you,

I respond to your letters of 12 and 14 Sivan*. I read with pleasure that you are preparing for the festival of 12 Tammuz* (note 3: That of the liberation of the Previous Rebbe), which approaches. No doubt it is the same in all the schools of the network (note 4: Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* in the Holy Land). And, in fact, it is good that you all collaborate together. May Hashem grant that the hearts of the male and female teachers of the network (note 4) thus draw closer, as well as those of the directors and members of the administration. All will gather together to accomplish His will with a whole heart. You also ask me about the presentation (note 5: That the students will make on the occasion of this festival). This question has no doubt already arisen, in various circles that fear the word of Hashem, in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, during these recent months. One therefore knows what was done on that occasion and what the reaction of the public was. You will make your decision accordingly. Of course, you must have an exchange on this question and make a decision at a meeting of the administration of the network (note 4). Indeed, this is a point of general scope, concerning not only the school in your location, but indeed all the schools at once.

You point out to me that I did not specifically ask you to devote yourself to the network (note 4) and, more generally, to Chabad*, in order for you to settle into your work as director and to perfect yourself. It is true that I did not specifically ask, to use your expression, but this does not exempt you from doing what all the other directors, all the other administrators of the network (note 4) do. This concerns in particular the summer camp, which is a current matter. The experience of the past has proven that it is positive and of great interest, especially if it is planned in a satisfactory manner. Conversely, one has seen the harm caused by the lack of an organized program and of coordination. You must understand what I mean. May Hashem grant that all of this be rectified, at least in the future. With my blessing,

נעם לי לקרות בם שעושים הכנות לקראת חגיגת י"ב תמוז הבע"ל.

ובודאי כן הוא בכל בתי ספר הרשת, ומה טוב שישתפו פעולה כולם יחד. ויה"ר שזה ישפיע ג"כ בקירוב הלבבות בין סגל המורים-ות דהרשת ובין המנהלים חברי הנהלה וקירוב לבם כולם כאחד ויחד לעשות רצונו בלבב שלם.

ובמ"ש אודות אופן ההצגה, הרי בודאי שכבר עמדה שאלה זו בחוגים השונים של החרדים לדבר ה' באה"ק ת"ו בחדשים שעברו, ובמילא ידוע איך נהגו ואיך הגיב הצבור על זה, ובהתאם לזה יש להחליט. אבל מובן שצריך לדון ע"ז ולהחליט במושב הנהלת הרשת, כיון שזהו ענין כללי הנוגע לא לבי"ס אחד במקומו אלא לכולם.

במ"ש שלא דרשתי ממנו במיוחד עסקנות הרשת ובכלל חב"ד בכדי שיוכל להתמסד בעבודתו בתור מנהל ולהשתלמותו, הנה אף שלא דרשתי במיוחד, כהביטוי שלו, אבל גם לא פוטר מלעשות ככל שאר המנהלים ועסקני הרשת. ובפרט בענין הקייטנא, שזהו דבר שהזמן גרמא, והנסיון דזמן העבר הראה, איך שזהו דבר טוב ותועלת רבה צפונה בזה, ובפרט אם יהי' מתוכנן הדבר ככל צרכו. ולאידך גיסא נוכחו ג"כ מההיזק ע"י העדר תכנית מסודרת והעדר שיתוף פעולה וד"ל. ויה"ר שעכ"פ עתה יסודר כל האמור...
