To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself

to communal needs, Rav Yaakov (note 1: Rav Y. Orenstein. See, regarding him, letters no. 4437 and 4565),

I greet you and bless you,

I received, with pleasure, your letter of the end of the month of Menachem Av*, in which you inform me of the visit of the emissaries (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 8106), the young Rabbanim* Shlita*, in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, of the content of their words and of the impressions. May Hashem grant that the words of encouragement that were pronounced and concretely heard find application in daily existence, for such is the purpose of man. I have already written at length to the association of Chassidim* Chabad* in the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, in order to emphasize that a visit (note 3: To the Rebbe) and the motivation it arouses correspond to the plowing and the planting. The Chassidim* who are on the spot must ensure that this is followed by effect during the following days, until one arrives at a positive outcome. Of course, the central point remains the dissemination of the wellsprings (note 4: Of Chassidus*) to the outside. For only the beginnings are difficult. Henceforth, the service of Hashem will therefore be easy, if one undertakes it with the fitting ardor. And the sooner the better, while one still retains the memory of this visit. This is quite evident.

I enclose what has been published recently. No doubt you will make its content available to the greatest number. The merit of what is public depends on it. With my blessing that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו משילהי חדש מנ"א בו כותב אודות ביקורם של השלוחים האברכים הרבנים שליט"א באה"ק ת"ו תוכן הדבורים והרושמים, ויה"ר אשר יומשכו כל דברי ההתעוררות שנאמרו ושנשמעו בפועל ובחיי היום יומים כי זה כל האדם, וכבר כתבתי בארוכה לאגו"ח אשר באה"ק ת"ו שהביקור וההתעוררות בימי הביקור ה"ז חרישה וזריעה ועל אנ"ש על אתר להביא בפועל כל הענינים בהימים שלאח"ז עד שיבואו לגמר טוב בפועל ומובן שגם בנקודה התיכונה הפצת המעינות חוצה, וכיון שרק התחלות קשות בנקל עתה העבודה באם יגשו אלי' במרץ הדרוש וכל ההקדם ישובח בעוד רושמי הביקור בקירוב זמן, וק"ל.
