I greet you and bless you,

I respond to your letter of 26 Sivan*, in which you indicate to me that you are seeking to settle. You specify the different possibilities and the disadvantages they present. If you wish to accept my advice, you will go to Morocco, after having completed your studies at the holy Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Brunoy* and it is precisely there that you will settle.

If you truly desire it, Hashem will grant you the success of strengthening your Judaism in that place and of disseminating it among our brothers, the holy children of Israel, the Sefardim*. In our era, nothing is more important than this, which means that, in this way, you will multiply the blessings that Hashem grants you in what concerns you personally. You will find a good match, both material and spiritual. More generally, you will settle in a positive manner. And let no one propose to you another form of settlement! You must understand what I mean. With my blessing,

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ו סיון, בו כותב אשר צריך הוא להסתדר והאפשריות בזה, והצדדים השלילים באפשריות אלו.

ואם לדעתי ישמע, הרי בגמרו את הלימוד בישיבה הק' תומכי תמימים אשר בברונא, יסע למרוקו להסתדר בדוקא שם.

והשם יצליחו אשר באם רק ירצה באמת, יחזק היהדות שם ויפיצה בין אחינו בני ישראל הק' הספרים. ובזמנינו אין דבר גדול מזה, שמובן מזה - שעל ידי זה יתוסף בברכות השי"ת גם בעניניו הפרטים - לשידוך טוב בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, ולהסתדרות טובה בכלל. ואל יניח למי שהוא לפתות אותו להסתדרות אחרת, וד"ל.
