To Mr. Korn (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 7489),

I greet you and bless you,

After a particularly long interruption, I have duly received your letter of 19 Elul*, in which you tell me that you are in contact with the representatives of Kfar Chabad*, in order to strengthen and develop the domain of agriculture there. Of course, I express to you once again my warm appreciation for the interest you manifest in this way. You do not specify to me the names of the persons with whom you are in contact, but you are surely alluding to the committee of the Kfar*, which represents all the inhabitants, including the farmers, and which knows the situation in detail. Quite obviously, you are right in telling me, in your letter, that the development of one part of the Kfar* will have an effect on all the others (note 2: In the non-agricultural domains). It is clear that interest will be increased if there is coordinated participation of all the groups found at Kfar Chabad*. In this way, its specificity will be preserved, strengthened, and it is thus that it will fulfill its role in the best manner.

On the occasion of the new year, which approaches for us and for all of Israel, for the good and for the blessing, I address to you my wishes that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, both materially and spiritually. With my respects and my blessing,

לאחרי ההפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מי"ט אלול, בו כותב שעומד בקישרו עם נציגי כפר חב"ד בהנוגע לביסוס והתפתחות מצב החקלאות שם, ולמותר להביע תודתי חמה עוה"פ על התענינותו בזה.

ואף שאינו מזכיר שמות האנשים שבאו עמו בקישרו, אבל בודאי כוונתו לועד הכפר, אשר הם מייצגים כל תושבי הכפר, והחקלאים בכללם, ויודעים פרטי המצב שם.

ומובן אשר צדק בדבריו במכתבו, אשר התפתחות חלק מהכפר ישפיע על שאר החלקים, ובודאי תגדל התועלת באם תהי' פעולה משותפת מכל הסוגים אשר בכפר חב"ד שאז בטח ישתמר וישוכלל צביונו וימלא תפקידו על צד היותר טוב.

ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני שולח לכ' ברכתי, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
