To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to

communal needs, Rav Chaim Zusya (note 1: Rav Ch. Z. Wilimovski. See, regarding him, letter no. 7879),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letters of 16, 19, and 22 Elul*, with all they contained. You will find enclosed my response to your sister-in-law. I am surprised that you are so brief regarding the meetings that were held recently. You mention the plots of land that may be added to the new Kfar*, but you do not clearly explain your point. For if one still speaks of the old Kfar*, which is abandoned, one will call into question the position that was adopted. This would not be comprehensible and you will therefore provide me with the necessary clarifications in your next letter. Generally, one can assume that the situation is the following. In the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, everything is in the hands of the parties, whose importance is measured also in function of the number of settlement points they possess. It is therefore difficult to envisage that a party could renounce one of the points allocated to it and join another settlement. It will not be the same, however, if it is merely a matter of a plot of land, which does not diminish the number of settlement points of the party. One can therefore prevail without arousing, in this matter, the feeling of victory (note 2: Which makes one want at all costs to triumph). Of course, all of this is merely a supposition, for the details of the situation are not known here. In any case, I have already specified that you must all consult together, to prevent each one from going in a different direction.

I have already emphasized to several Chassidim* the importance of preparing, sufficiently in advance, a detailed program in order to take advantage, in the fitting manner, of the favorable and joyous days of the month of Tishrei*, which approaches. May Hashem grant that at least in the future, eagerness manifests itself in this matter.

On the occasion of the new year, which approaches for us and for all of Israel, for the good and for the blessing, I address to you, by the present letter, my wishes, to you and to yours, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually. With my blessing,

שלום וברכה!

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו מט"ז י"ט כ"ב אלול עם המוסגר בם, ומצו"פ המענה לגיסתו תחי' ולפלא שמקצר כ"כ בהנוגע להכנוסים שהיו לאחרונה.

במ"ש אודות צירוף השטחים לכפר החדש, לא בירר כוונתו בכתבו שאם ידברו ע"ד כפר הישן הנטוש לבד - הרי זה יערער כל העמדה, שאין זה מובן, ובטח יבאר בזה יותר במכתבו הבא.

בכללות הענין יש לשער, שכיון שבאה"ק ת"ו המפלגתיות שולטת בכל, וכח המפלגות נערך גם כן בהתאם לנקודות ההתיישבות של כאו"א, קשה לומר שמפלגה תוותר על נקודת התיישבות שלה שתצטרף למושב אחר, משא"כ כשהמדובר יה'י רק בהנוגע לשטח מסוים, ואין זה ממעט מספר המושבות של מפלגה זו, שאפשר לעשות הדבר מבלי הכנס לנצחנות וכו'. מובן שכ"ז כתוב רק בהשערה - כיון שאין ידועים כאן הפרטים. וכ"א כבר כתבתי, שצריך להתייעץ כולם יחד, ולא שכל אחד ימשוך בכיוון אחר.

כבר כתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש אודות הנחיצות להכין בעוד מועד תכנית מפורטת לניצול ימי הרצון והשמחה של חדש תשרי הבע"ל, ויהי רצון שעכ"פ עתה תועיל הזריזות בזה.

ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
