to communal needs, Rav Chaim Zusya (note 1: Rav Ch. Z. Wilimovski. See, regarding him, letter no. 7979),

I greet you and bless you,

After a particularly long interruption, I received simultaneously your two letters, the first which you wrote between 11 and 27 Tishrei*, the second of 28 Tishrei*, as well as those that preceded them. We await the continuation of the good news, in all the domains you mention. You ask me about the meaning of the junction of the plots of land (note 2: Of the two villages Tocheles* and Kfar Chabad*. See, on this subject, letters no. 8137 and 8147). It is difficult to indicate, from here, which one must be retained and which must be set aside. This question must be analyzed and a decision must be made on the spot. In any case, the central point in this matter has already been stated. One must set aside the desire to be the victor and endeavor that this junction not be complete, so that one cannot claim that a settlement point has been eliminated. This is quite evident.

It seems that the activities of the month of Tishrei* were somewhat better organized because you consulted together in advance and it appears that you prepared a program, although this was apparently not as detailed as it should have been. Certain aspects therefore remained like "the pot belonging to partners" (note 3: Of which no one takes care, each relying on the other). On this basis, you will surely establish a detailed program for the month of Kislev*, which approaches, in particular for the festival of 19 Kislev*. I hope that upon receipt of the present letter, the state of health of the members of your family will have improved and that the same will be true for the other inhabitants of Kfar Chabad*, within all of Israel. שלום וברכה!

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבלו ביחד שני מכתביו (הא' שהתחיל לכתוב י"א תשרי וסיימו כ"ז, והשני מכ"ח תשרי) והקודמם, ומחכים להמשך בשו"ט בכל הענינים אודותם כותב.

ובמה ששואל פירוש אודות צירוף השטחים, קשה להורות מכאן איזה גוש לצרף ואיזה לא, שזה צריך לראות ולהחליט על אתר. והנקודה כללית בזה כבר נכתבה, שבכדי למנוע מדת הנצחנות, צריך להשתדל ע"ד הצירוף ובאופן שישאר ג"כ מה שלא יצטרף, בכדי שלא יטענו שאי אפשר לוותר על נקודות ההתיישבות וק"ל...

כנראה הי' קצת סדר יותר בפעולות חדש תשרי ע"י שהתייעצו מקודם לזה, וכנראה שהכינו איזה תכנית, אף שכנראה גם היא לא היתה מפורטת כל צרכה, ובמילא נשארו איזה פרטים כקדירה דבי שותפי. ובטח על יסוד זה יתכננו תכנית מפורטת לחדש כסלו הבע"ל, ובעיקר חגיגת י"ט כסלו.

תקותי שלעת קבלת מכתבי כבר הוטב מצב בריאות ב"ב שי', וכן שאר תושבי כפר חב"ד בתוככי כלל ישראל. ויהי רצון אשר אך טוב יבשר תכה"י בכלל ובפרט.
