I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 27 MarCheshvan* and I await the continuation of your good news. All the Chassidim*, in particular the young ones, are surely doing all that is in their power to take advantage of the days of Kislev*, in general, of 19 Kislev* and of Chanukah*, in particular, to disseminate the wellsprings (note 1: Of Chassidus*) to the outside. Indeed, one can concretely verify what is explained by the Admur HaZaken*, in chapter 14 of Igeres HaKodesh*, according to which new possibilities and capacities are added each year. Nevertheless, during the past years, they have not been used as they should have been and one knows the saying according to which one must draw a lesson from the past for the future.

Of course, these words are not addressed solely to you, but also to all those who are mentioned above (note 2: All the Chassidim*, in particular the young ones). May Hashem grant that all act in this direction, with the greatest eagerness, for it is then that the success will be most considerable. With my blessing for giving good news of all of this and also of what concerns you personally,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מכ"ז מ"ח, ואחכה להמשך בשורות טובות.

בודאי כל אחד מאנ"ש והצעירים ביחוד עושה כל התלוי בו לנצל ימי חודש כסלו בכלל, וי"ט כסלו וחנוכה ביחוד, בענין הפצת המעיינות חוצה. והרי רואים במוחש את המבואר באגה"ק לרבנו הזקן סי' י"ד, איך שבכל שנה ושנה נתוספה האפשריות והיכולת לעשות בזה, אלא שבשנים שעברו לא ניצלו אתם בכל האפשרי, וידוע הפתגם, שהעבר צריך ללמד את העתיד, וק"ל.

ומובן שדברי אלה מכוונים לא רק אליו, אלא לכל האמורים לעיל.

ויהי רצון שבמרץ הכי גדול יעשו בהנ"ל, ובמילא תהי' בהצלחה הכי גדולה.
