By the grace of Hashem,

To the inhabitants of Kfar Chabad* who have agricultural activity,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I respond to your letter of the conclusion of Shabbos*, in which you tell me that, in your view, the farmers of Kfar Chabad* are disadvantaged, with all that concerns them. And the reason is the absence of a committee for agricultural activity. It is, however, quite evident that one cannot establish a specific committee for each activity of the Kfar*. This would have no end. A joint leadership has, for the time being, not yet succeeded in setting aside the disagreement of hearts and one would create several committees to accentuate the disunity, among other effects?

I have written to the committee of the Kfar* and I have proposed that it add to its discussions, when it rules on agricultural problems, representatives of the farmers of Kfar Chabad*. The latter, without having the right to vote, will present the situation before the committee, as it appears from their point of view. But if it is clear that, for the good of all and of each one, the committee must take an interest in the farmers, it is equally necessary, for all and for each one, including for the farmers, that they in turn take an interest in the other inhabitants of the Kfar*. When all collaborate together, they will succeed in everything that concerns them, in the concerns of the farmers and in the other domains of the Kfar*. The blessing of Hashem will thereby be increased.

May Hashem grant that my dearest hope finally be realized, the multiplication of the number of farmers at Kfar Chabad* and that their situation improve, among all the other concerns of the Kfar*, quantitative and qualitative. In these two dimensions, one will add and advance, from time to time, from one period to the next, with a visible and tangible good. With my blessing for breadth of spirit, for earning your livelihood broadly, materially and spiritually, and for giving good news of all of this,

בחקלאות,

ה' עליהם יחיו

שלום וברכה!

במענה למכתבם ממוצש"ק, בו כותבים אשר לדעתם החקלאים בכפר חב"ד

ועניניהם מקופחים, והסיבה בזה אשר אין ועד מיוחד לעניני חקלאות.

והנה מובן שאי אפשר לעשות ועד מיוחד לכל אחד מעניני הכפר, שאם כן הרי אין לדבר סוף, ותחת הנהלה משותפת, שגם בידה לא עלה לע"ע לשלול פירוד הלבבות וכו' וכו', יקומו כמה ועדים, שיגרום עוד לפרוד לבבות נוסף, ועוד ועוד.

וכתבתי לודע הכפר הצעתי, שכאשר ידונו בעניני חקלאות, יצרפו בעת השקו"ט ב"כ החקלאים אש בכפר חב"ד, ז.א. אשר החקלאים יוצגו ע"י ב"כ - לבאר (אבל לא להצביע וכו') לפני הועד פרטי המצב בענין זה מנקודת מבט של החקלאים.

אבל מובן ג"כ, שכמו שלתועלת הכללית וגם הפרטית מוכרח שהועד יתענין בטובת החקלאים, הנה ג"כ מוכרח וג"כ לתועלת הכלל והפרט של החקלאים, שהחקלאים יתענינו גם בשאר תושבי הכפר, ובשיתוף פעולה מכולם יחד, הרי זה הכלי להצלחה בכל הענינים, הן דחקלאים והן שאר עניני הכפר ולהוספת ברכת השי"ת בזה.

ויהי רצון אשר תתחל קיום תקותי הכי חזקה, שיתרבה מספר החקלאים בכפר חב"ד, ויוטב מצב החקלאים בתוככי שאר עניני הכפר, הן בכמות והן באיכות, ובשני הענינים באופן דמוסיף והולך מזמן לזמן ומתקופה לקופה ובטוב הנראה והנגלה.

בברכה להרחבת הדעת ולהרחבת הפרנסה הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות ולבשורות טובות בכל האמור.
