By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

It is surely needless to emphasize to you that, for a Jew, in general, a Yeshivah* student, in particular, and a student of Tomchei Temimim*, most especially, every benefit of the Holy One blessed be He must lead toward the service of the Creator and strengthen it. One must therefore study the Torah*, its revealed part and Chassidus*, fulfill the Mitzvos* in the best manner, which includes the "great principle of the Torah*" which is: "You shall love your fellow as yourself." This means that, through your study and through your conduct, you must give the example to your friends and to your surroundings. All, thanks to you, must strengthen their study of the Torah* and their practice of the Mitzvos*. There is no stronger manifestation of friendship and of Tzedakah*, leading man to both this world and the world to come. With my blessing,

... ובודאי למותר להדגיש, אשר אצל בני ישראל בכלל, ובהנוגע לתלמידי הישיבה בפרט, ובהנוגע לתלמידי תומכי תמימים ביחוד, כל ענין של חסד מהקב"ה מטרתו שיגרום שיוסיף בעבודתו לבוראו, לימוד התורה, נגלה וחסידות, וקיום מצותי' בהידור, ובהם בכלל גדול שבתורה ואהבת לרעך כמוך. וז.א. הלימוד והמעשה באופן שיהי' דוגמא חי' לחבריו ולסביבתו, שיתוסף בהם בלימוד התורה וקיום המצות. ואין לך אהבה וצדקה גדולה מזו המביאה את האדם לחיי העולם הזה והעולם הבא.
